An easy-to-make crochet fall coasters set that’s perfect for the autumn season. 

Materials

Yarn: Premier Cotton Sprout (weight 3 – light)
Color A – Cream (3.5 oz/100 g, 230 yd/210 m) – 1 skein
Color B – Beige (3.5 oz/100 g, 230 yd/210 m) – 1 skein
Color C – Bark (3.5 oz/100 g, 230 yd/210 m) – 1 skein
Color D – Cranberry (3.5 oz/100 g, 230 yd/210 m) – 1 skein

Hook: H/8 – 5.00mm

Abbreviations (US)

st – stitch
sp – space
sl st – slip stitch
ch – chain
sc – single crochet
hdc – half double crochet
dc – double crochet 

Notes

The slip stitch at the end of each round is done in the first single crochet of the round.

The first stitch of each round is always made in the same stitch as the chain 1.

Brackets [ ] indicate directions worked in the same st. For example, sc 5 means sc 1 in five sts; [sc 5] means sc 5 in the same st.

Make a magic circle

Round 1: ch 1, sc 8 into the magic circle, sl st (8)

Round 2: ch 1, *sc 1, [sc 2], repeat from * around, sl st (12)

Round 3: ch 1, sc 1 in each st around, sl st (12)

Round 4: ch 1, [sc 2] in each st around, sl st (24)

Round 5: ch 1, *sc 1, [sc 2], repeat from * around, sl st (36)

Round 6: ch 1, sc 1 in each st around, sl st (36)

Round 7: ch 1, sc 5, ch 3, sk 2, sc 4, ch 4, sk 3, sc 3, ch 4, sk 2, sc 3, ch 4, sk 3, sc 4, ch 3, sk 2, sc 5, sl st (24 sc, 2 ch3-sp, 3 ch4-sp)

Round 8: ch 1, sc 5, [dc  4] in first ch-sp, sc 4, [dc 6] in the next ch-sp, sc 3, [dc 6] in the next ch-sp, sc 3, [dc 6] in the next ch-sp, sc 4, [dc 4] in the last ch-sp, sc 5, sl st (24sc, 26dc)

Change to accent color for round 10

For stem, ch 5, sl st in the second from the hook and in each to the end (4), sl st in the beginning st

Finish off and weave in ends

Make two for each coaster

Block and whip stitch together
