The Crochet Cassandra Cat Amigurumi is an adorable doll pattern designed to represent the Celtic zodiac cat sign.
Design Inspiration
Similar to the Greek and Chinese zodiacs, one version of the Celtic zodiac has animal signs. The Celtic animal zodiac is based on lunar cycles, so it has thirteen signs. Cassandra is the first amigurumi of this zodiac collection and represents the cat. Cats are known for lounging, so I designed Cassandra’s outfit to reflect the cozy, comfortable fashion of the winter season. The Cat (January 21 – February 17) exhibits intelligence, intuition, and quick wit.
