I am in love with the look and texture of this Celtic weave baby blanket. I’ve been wanting to try this stitch for a while and I’m ecstatic about how it turned out. Although I created this as a baby blanket it would make a great home decor throw as well. The color choices, name, and design were all inspired by March and the shamrock season.
Round two for these wonderful little amis! After creating the Seabreeze Fakepops this past summer, I was enamored and knew I wanted to design some equally adorable fall friends. These fake food crochet animals were inspired by my love for all things Hogwarts as well as Halloween snack nostalgia. Each crochet fall creature in this sweet collection was inspired by magical pets and classic autumn treats. The honey dipper design makes each animal easy to display with any of your fall or Halloween decor
Hello, Fall! Ok, ok. Summer isn’t quite over yet, but it’s never too early to think about fall decor. These crochet fall coasters make an excellent and minimalistic choice for any home. The double-sided cotton yarn design makes these coasters thick and absorbent, creating a great option for both hot and cold drinks.
“The gingham dog and the calico cat side by side on the table sat.”~ The Duel. My favorite poem growing up. This classic gingham pattern was born from nostalgia and looks amazing anywhere in the kitchen. It’s great for adding a little color to your culinary space and the Coboo yarn gives these towels a lovely, soft texture. These linens are also a fun and easy way to decorate for brunch or teatime. The color choice? Perfect for use in every season.
It’s that red, white, and blue season between Memorial Day and July 4th. Time to break out your festive, patriotic decor. This eight-point star is the perfect size for laying on a tabletop or tossing over the back of a chair. Why eight points? I’m a little corny and I love adding personal touches to my patterns; my husband and I have been together for eight years now. Told ya. Corny.
The Crochet Mintmallow Holiday Graphghan is an intermediate level free holiday pattern reminiscent of peppermint cocoa with marshmallows. I wanted this pattern to convey that cozy peppermint hot chocolate feeling. The Scandinavian snowflake represents the milk and marshmallows I like to put in my cocoa. Wishing for snow this holiday season, so baby girl and I can watch through the window while huddled up in this soft treat blanket.
The Crochet Velkommen Entryway Mat is an easy and quick to make free pattern. Kick off your shoes and hop into some comfy slippers! I’ve been itching to try out recycled t-shirt yarn after seeing it used in so many projects. This melded with the fact that we desperately needed an entryway mat to put our shoes on to minimize the spread of dirt around the house. Trying to convert us to a no shoes household, so I wanted somewhere guests could also leave their shoes and grab a pair of slippers. After reading a few descriptions, I chose Hoooked because its details seemed the best option for a rug-style project and it was also machine washable.
The Crochet Burtney Coasters set is a simple and fun free pattern that gives you daily decor on one side and a spooky surprise on the other. I love the harvest season and snuggling down with a hot mug of cider for fall movie nights. What could go better with this scene than some adorable coasters? I went back and forth with design options. Farmhouse or Halloween? I couldn’t choose, so I said why not both. Side A was inspired by Mud Pie. Absolutely obsessed with this brand and want every piece of their punny kitchenware. Side B was born from my love of Halloween movies. I’m not a horror kind of girl, so I skip right over the scary movies and go straight for nostalgia (aka Disney). My favorite set of Halloween movies includes what I call the Burtney collection. Having two sides makes these coasters perfect for your everyday look or Halloween. Plus, the size works great with larger mugs!
The Crochet Cozy Harvest Sampler Throw Blanket is an intermediate friendly free pattern using a few stitches to create a variety of textures. Growing up autumn was a big time for my family. My siblings and I all have fall birthdays and, of course, two major holidays occur during this time. As with many families, one of our traditions was the annual pumpkin patch visit. We’d have amazing fun picking out our special pumpkins and running through the corn maze. This year we got to pass on the tradition to our own little pumpkin. This cozy crochet blanket is reminiscent of the corn rows and pumpkins with sparkling black added to bring it together.
